A portion of Indian Trail Road will be closed Saturday for the Town’s Family Fun Day festival.
The road will be closed Saturday, June 3, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Navajo Trail (at the railroad tracks) and at Park Road (near the Boy Scout Hut). The road will reopen once the festival is complete. Drivers are urged to use Stallings Road and Wesley Chapel Stouts Road as alternate routes during the festival.
Drivers seeking to reach businesses in the Indian Trail downtown area are advised to approach from U.S. 74 and drive cautiously as there will be pedestrians in the area attending the event. Those seeking to reach Edna Love Park on Saturday should approach from Old Monroe Road.
Some parking will be available along Indian Trail Road, and parking for the festival also will be available at Indian Trail Elementary School. Detours will be clearly marked and deputies will be directing traffic. Those with questions can call the Indian Trail Town Hall at 704-821-8114.
