The Town of Indian Trail will receive sealed bids for the following Project:

PROJECT NAME: First Avenue Pond and Pump Station

PROJECT NUMBER: 60-90-02 MANDATORY

PRE-BID: April 16, 2020 at 10:00 am

BID DUE DATE & TIME: April 23, 2020 at 10:00 am


SCOPE OF WORK: This project consists of clearing out 5 lots and installing a detaining pond. A pump station and RCP will be installed in order to capture upstream runoff from adjacent properties and pump the captured stormwater off site.

The Contractor shall be prepared to work and have resources (manpower, supervision, and equipment) necessary to complete the assigned Project.

Interested bidders must obtain an official bid package in order to bid. Contract Documents are available for a non-refundable charge of $46.00 (plus tax) at the following:

One copy of the Contract Documents will be available for reference at the Town of Indian Trail Engineering Department, 315 MatthewsIndian Trail Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on April 16, 2020 via teleconferencing. All perspective bidders shall call 425-4366373 (code 790706). Attendance at this meeting is required in order to bid on this project. The meeting will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.

Sealed Bids must be received by the Town’s Engineering Department at 315 Matthews-Indian Trail Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079, no later than 10:00 a.m. on April 23, 2020. A wooden box with the Town Seal on it will be left out front of Town Hall for you to insert bids into it. Bids will be read out load thru video streaming. Bidders will be able to view the bid opening via the Town’s YouTube channel.

Bidders must be properly licensed under North Carolina state law to perform the work. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount not less than 5% of the total amount of the bid. An MBE goal of 5% has been established for this contract.
