New Construction

Site Plan Review Process

If you have decided to build a new building for your business, the project will go through the site plan review process with the Town. All plans for new site construction are subject to the Town Ordinances, including the Unified Development Ordinance, the Post Construction Ordinance, and the Municipal Code.

The plan review process operates under the Community Planning Program, which divides the Town into 4 “planning areas” with a planning staff member assigned to each “planning area.” The planner assigned to your area will be your contact and is in charge of coordinating the plan review of all Town Departments. You can contact the planner assigned to your “planning area” for basic questions on the process or even to set up a pre-submittal meeting.
