On Tuesday, March 2, at 5:30 p.m., the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will be hosting an interactive virtual public meeting to discuss the preliminary refined alignments for the LYNX Silver Line light rail.
The virtual public meeting will discuss Focus Area 6, the proposed extension into Union County through Stallings and Indian Trail, so our residents’ input is critical to the project.

Following the public comment period, CATS will present the recommendations to the Metropolitan Transit Commission (MTC), CATS’ policy board, during an information session in March. When adopted in April, the project will move forward with more detailed planning, design and environmental review.
