The Town of Indian Trail has recently partnered with Monroe-Union County Economic Development and the company Retail Strategies to identify potential retail and dining options for its residents and visitors to enjoy.
During the Discovery phase of the Retail Recruitment Process, Retail Strategies will be gathering data and analytics about the Indian Trail community in order to determine the types of businesses that would be the best fit. In addition to demographic and real estate analysis, this phase also includes community input. The Town is asking residents and business owners to complete a brief survey on what types of retail establishments they would like to see in Indian Trail. The survey can be found at https://forms.gle/tH9fY3zLjkXqNpSL7.
Retail Strategies will use the information gathered during the Discovery phase to connect with targeted new and existing businesses who would be interested in expanding in Indian Trail.
“We are looking forward to working with Monroe-Union County Economic Development and Retail Strategies to bring new retail and dining options to Indian Trail, while supporting our existing businesses,” said Town Manager Mike McLaurin. “I encourage you to fill out the community survey. It only takes a couple of minutes and will help us support our current businesses while bringing additional businesses to Indian Trail that our residents want to see. Retail recruitment can be a lengthy process, but with your input and working with experts in economic development, we are excited about the opportunities that await.”
