The Indian Trail Town Council has officially adopted the state ordinance known as the Brunch Bill, allowing for alcohol sales in Town limits to begin at 10 a.m. on Sundays. The past rule prohibited sales prior to noon.
The new rule goes into effect immediately. The North Carolina General Assembly passed the bill earlier this year, but it must be adopted by individual governing boards to take effect in those towns. The aim of the bill was to support the state’s hospitality industry.
