[ARCHIVED] Lane closures planned for U.S. 74

The following is a news release from the North Carolina Department of Transportation:


Contract crews working on the Monroe Expressway project will temporarily close one lane on U.S. 74 in both directions between Interstate 485 and Indian Trail-Fairview Road for paving operations, weather permitting.

Lane closures will take place from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., starting Sunday, Oct. 28, continuing through Saturday, Nov. 3. One lane will remain open in each direction to traffic.
