[ARCHIVED] Lanes closing starting Saturday on U.S. 74

The following is a news release from the North Carolina Department of Transportation:


Contract crews working on the Monroe Expressway project will temporarily close one lane on U.S. 74 in both directions between Interstate 485 and Indian Trail–Fairview Road for paving operations, weather permitting.

Lane closures will take place from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., starting Saturday, Nov. 3, continuing through Saturday, Nov.10. One lane will remain open in each direction to traffic.
