A Duke Energy substation fire on Old Monroe Road just across the Mecklenburg County line has caused power outages down Old Monroe Road and through Indian Trail. Several traffic lights are out and causing traffic delays. If you are traveling in the area, please leave yourself extra time and be patient. Use an alternate route if possible.
