Participating vehicles can start arriving at the Town Hall as early as 8:15 a.m. and must be in place by 9:35 a.m. Drivers are asked to enter off Matthews-Indian Trail Road and wait for volunteers to help assist in parking the vehicles. Spectators can park at Chestnut Square Park or Crossing Paths Park.

Vehicles will compete for numerous awards. Awards based on the judges’ votes will be Best in Show, Best Antique, Best Classic, Best Muscle/Hot Rod, Best Future Classic, Best Modern Muscle, Best 4x4, and Most Unique. Additional awards include Kids’ Choice and People’s Choice. Awards will be presented at 1 p.m. Spectators wishing to participate in the People’s Choice Award are also asked to bring a toy donation. For each toy donation someone brings, they will receive one raffle ticket to vote for the People’s Choice Award.

In addition to the car show, attendees will also enjoy food trucks, family activities, and live music by Natty Boh.

“Last year’s inaugural Car Show and Toy Drive was a great success,” said Nick Brauninger, special events coordinator. “We’re excited to bring it back for another year and look forward to seeing even more awesome cars, trucks, Jeeps, and motorcycles fill the Town Hall parking lot. We’d like to thank Carolina Cruzin4Jeeps and The Wrecking Crew Mustang Club for helping make this event a reality. Not only will it be a fun day of cool cars, good food, and great music, but it’s supporting an important cause in our community.”
