The Town of Indian Trail provides street lights as one of its services. The Town provides for the installation of a wooden pole and light with overhead lines, along with the maintenance and power for the light. Any additional upgrades will be paid for by others.
Electric Companies
The Town of Indian Trail is served by two electric companies: Duke Energy and Union Power Cooperative. All light poles are to be set in an area deemed appropriate by the service provider and the North Carolina Department of Transportation requirements, which must be followed. Any Street Light Outage should be reported to your service provider (either Duke or Union).
