On June 12, 2025, the Indian Trail Town Council voted to approve the fiscal year 2025-2026 budget that began on July 1. Planning for the budget began in late 2024 and continued through the spring with two budget workshops with the staff and the Town Council on March 11 and April 8. The budget was formally presented on May 13, with a Public Hearing held on May 27.
